Resolutions 2017

01/01/2017 00:00:01 “I won’t make any resolution” was my resolution. Well, although paradoxical, this was the first joke of the year by me.

Another resolution I’ve made is to make a resolution. That one was fulfilled right at the moment I made it, and was by far the easiest for me and the most intriguing for my bro.

Anyways, the resolution I (actually) made (this was the first one I made seriously and without laughing my head off like a monkey) went like so (I guess) : “In 2017, I will fulfill my resolution of 2016, which I had decided to do in 2015, which I thought about in 2014, which my mom told me to do in 2013”. True. Well, my mom had told me to ‘grow up’. I don’t know when that’ll happen, but this year I will surely try my best.

What does a ‘resolution’ actually mean? It means ‘determining upon an action, course of action, method or procedure’. Actually, the definition of ‘resolution’ in my dictionary comes out to be ‘something you decide to do, but remains only to the point if instantaneous motivation and then follows continuous demotivation, which ultimately results in failure of the completion of the resolution itself’

According to this self-made and self-followed definition, I tried to ‘grow up’ as my mom had said, but instead, I started to ‘grow down’. I am currently facing reprimanding of doing things so childish that I wouldn’t have dared to do even when I was 3 or 4.

Now, I know what my resolution of next year would be: “In 2018, I will do what I was reprimanded for in 2017, which was actually my resolution of 2016, which I had decided to do in 2015, which I thought about in 2014, which my mom told me to do in 2013”.
